I am not your usual Personal Trainer I have spent most of my working life within the Nursing profession. I have always been an active participant in Health, Nutrition and Fitness. As someone who has always enjoyed helping people, I now relish one-to-one training, bringing together my health and fitness knowledge and my enjoyment of helping people.
With the benefit and encouragement of utilising a personal trainer, I started to get “serious” competing in the National Fitness Games. In 2019 I reached the UK final of the elite females – the only Scottish team to do so. This was the kick start I needed to inspire me to start a new career in the Health and Fitness Industry.
I have a diploma in Personal Training at Level 3 from Pegasus, the most highly regarded training school in Scotland. I am also a certified instructor for kettle bells, circuit and group cycle. I can also offer specialist training for pregnant woman or new mums as I have my Level 3 Award in Supporting Pre and Postnatal Clients with Exercise and Nutrition.
As a mother of two, I understand the pressures and challenges to keep up a fitness and health programme. I am passionate about the benefits, both physical and mental, of establishing a balanced approach to fitness and general well-being. Whether you are looking to compete in elite sports or simply looking for all round general health improvements I will give you the guidance and encouragement to achieve your goals in a sustainable way.
